Terms

These terms govern the use of the Nasaq platform and this website. Where a school has signed a licence agreement, the agreement prevails if the two differ.

1. The service

Nasaq is a platform for building school timetables and managing cover and duties. We provide it with the plan, channels and limits written in each school's licence. We keep developing it, and screens and features may change with updates.

2. Accounts

  • The school creates its users' accounts and sets their roles, and is responsible for keeping passwords confidential.
  • The school only enters data it has the right to use, and uses Nasaq for the school's lawful purposes.

3. Trial

The trial is free, complete and lasts 14 days, and its printouts are marked "trial copy". After the trial the school chooses a plan, or stops with no obligation.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are those shown on the pricing page, or in the quote sent to the school.
  • Payment is by invoice and bank transfer; the licence is activated once payment is received.
  • Half-year and yearly plans are renewed with a new invoice before they end.

5. Data

The school's data belongs to the school; we process it only to provide the service, and hand it over if the school cancels. Details in School data.

6. Intellectual property

Nasaq, its name, logo, code and design belong to its owner. It may not be copied, sold, redistributed or reverse-engineered without written permission.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available at all times, and take a backup before every update. The service may occasionally stop for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control; we tell schools about planned maintenance in advance whenever we can.

8. Limits of liability

Nasaq is a tool that helps a school build its timetable and run its day; the school makes the decisions about its timetable and assignments. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service, and in any case our liability does not exceed what the school paid for the period in which the loss occurred.

9. Suspension and cancellation

A school can cancel at any time, and we hand over its data. We may suspend an account used for other purposes, or in a way that harms the service or other schools, after notifying the school.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows the latest update, and we tell schools about any material change.
