Licence summary
This is a plain summary. The licence agreement the school signs is what applies.

What the licence is
A Nasaq licence is a digitally signed file that cannot be altered. We issue it after payment, and it sets:
- The licence holder: the school, or the buyer's email address.
- The plan: half-year, yearly or lifetime.
- The channels switched on: web, the school's own domain, the Mac and Windows app, and the mobile app.
- The expiry date, and the date the right to updates ends.
- The limits on teachers and on stages.
- Removal of the Nasaq mark, if included.
- The end of the support month.
Limits and upgrades
If a school goes beyond its licence limits on teachers, stages or channels, it is offered an upgrade. Its data is left untouched.
When it ends
When a licence ends, the school stays available to view and print only until renewal, and nothing is deleted.
Updates
- Updates released before the end of the right to updates remain the school's.
- Security fixes are free for everyone.
- A backup is taken before every update, and a failed update is rolled back automatically.
The Mac and Windows app
- The licence is tied to the buyer's email, activated once online, after which the app works offline.
- One active device per licence. The buyer can move it to another device up to 3 times a year; if a device is lost, we release the licence.
- Setting the computer's date back does not extend the licence.
Trial
The trial is complete and lasts 14 days, and all of its printouts are marked "trial copy".
The Nasaq mark
A small Nasaq mark appears in the corner of every page and printout; removing it is an extra service.
Intellectual property
The licence gives the school the right to use Nasaq; it does not transfer ownership. Nasaq, its code and its design belong to its owner. The school's data belongs to the school.
